Isengard Penitentiary/Jail (アイゼンガルド 刑務所, aizengarudo keimusho) is a prison for supervillains in Japan that plays a major role in My Hero Academia: Family Honor.
Isengard is a different kind of jail than Tartarus, the prison where All for One is incarcerated. Tartarus was was built to hold the worst criminals in the world and keep them in isolation forever.
Isengard by contrast is more like a normal jail that was simply augmented to contain people with quirks. The majority of the inmates at Isengard are not serving life sentences and the prisoners are allowed visits by friends/family.
There is an connection between Dolores Orphanage and Isengard Jail. Dolores Orphanage is stereotyped as the home of bad seeds because the kids who are sent their are all the children of supervillains. Isengard Jail is where all of these kids are supposedly destined to wind up.
The Monkey Queen's Reign[]
Isengard Penitentiary is where Rio Tachibana/the Monkey Queen was incarcerated after she was defeated a decade ago.
She eventually managed to build a new criminal empire that she is able to control from behind bars. Currently she is forced to act through proxies but her escape is inevitable.
